🎄 Things to Do in Cocoa Beach This Holiday Season (Rain or Shine!)

Cocoa Beach Gets Festive 🌴✨

Cocoa Beach may be famous for sunshine and surf, but when the holidays arrive, our little beach town glows with coastal cheer. Whether you’re visiting from a cruise ship, escaping winter snow, or just looking for local holiday fun, there’s plenty to enjoy all season long, rain or shine!

From Christmas parades to cozy bookstores and thrilling VR adventures, Cocoa Beach offers a mix of festive fun for every kind of holiday explorer. Here are a few of our favorite ways to celebrate the season right here on the Space Coast.

🌊 Outdoor Holiday Fun in Cocoa Beach

Surfing Santas (Downtown Cocoa Beach)
One of Cocoa Beach’s most iconic events, Surfing Santas brings hundreds of costumed surfers, from Kris Kringle himself to reindeer on boards, riding the waves on Christmas Eve near the end of Minutemen Causeway. It’s part beach party, part holiday spectacle, and 100 percent Cocoa Beach fun.

Arrive early for a good view, grab some coffee or cocoa from a local café, and stick around afterward to explore nearby shops and attractions. We’re just minutes away at Skull & Books VR, perfect for continuing the fun indoors once you’ve had your fill of sand and sunshine.

Cocoa Beach Christmas Parade & Boat Parade
The annual Cocoa Beach Christmas Parade fills downtown with floats, marching bands, and holiday cheer, while the Banana River Boat Parade lights up the water with decorated vessels. Both events bring out locals and visitors alike , and they make for great pre- or post-VR adventure stops!

Bring the family, snap some photos under the palm-lit streets, and then swing by our shop for a warm-up and some festive fun.
